The details are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. <strong><strong>Contents of the Exemption Measure<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Approval<\/strong> has been granted for migrant workers from Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar to <strong>return home between April 1 and May 15, 2025<\/strong>, with the following measures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Ministry of Interior (MoI)<\/strong> will issue an official announcement waiving the requirement to apply for a <strong>Re-Entry Permit<\/strong>, in accordance with Section 39 of the 1979 Immigration Act.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Immigration Bureau, under the National Police<\/strong>, will oversee entry and exit procedures at border checkpoints, stamping exit and re-entry approvals in passports or equivalent travel documents. <strong>All fees will be waived.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> will notify Thai embassies in the workers&#8217; home countries to coordinate relevant procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. <strong><strong>Responsibilities of Government Agencie<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All relevant government agencies must cooperate in implementing and publicizing this measure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Officials must ensure that no government personnel abuse their authority for personal gain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. <strong><strong>Key Points of the Measure<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eligible migrant workers may freely <strong>leave and re-enter Thailand between April 1 and May 15, 2025<\/strong>, <strong>without applying for a new permit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a worker <strong>returns after May 15, 2025<\/strong>, their stay permit will be <strong>automatically void<\/strong>, even if they still have remaining legal stay duration. leading to a government revenue loss of <strong>about 100 million THB<\/strong> (from waived re-entry permit fees of 1,000 THB per person).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This policy will help reduce financial burdens for low-income migrant workers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will mitigate the risk of <strong>irregular cross-border movements<\/strong> while also promoting <strong>cultural traditions and strengthening labor relations between Thailand and its neighboring countries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This decision aims to facilitate migrant workers\u2019
